Yatogami Fuma Vtuber Character modeling

Helped making the 3D model for Yatogami Fuma (夜十神封魔) from Holostars Uproar!!

I worked on the main body (pants, sweatshirt, cloak, gloves, the rings on his leg) and head, the final fix for the head was done by my supervisor.
My other coworker did his sneakers, belt and pouch.

We try to match the head model to the design using a 50mm camera, it focuses on the torso so then we have to adjust his body accordingly.
Hairstyle like this is a little tricky and this character has yellow parts that dont match at all in the 3 dimensions design.
Also, we dont normally get a detailed design for the back of his head, so we have to guess how it would look like ourselves.

Took a little less than a month for 3 people so im guessing 1 month a half, maybe more if i had to do it by myself (including UV mapping).

i was worried about how these sleeves would look like animated, but they turned out pretty good!
in the first draft they looked pretty stiff and unnatural... but getting feedback from my supervisor helped me out

one thing about this kind of model is that it has to match the front design EXACTLY, you should be able to see a quite a bit of the top of the head from the front so it will get pretty big and angled! its easier to see in this shot from the side

matching the head in 50mm camera to the design seems to be the magic number according to my supervisor... some people might try 70mm camera though
