Character Modeling & Texturing for KDDI αU Metaverse

This is my latest publicized work, outfit character models for the metaverse app "αU metaverse" from the japanese telecommunications company KDDI.

They have a variety of content around metaverse, including NFTs as avatar, for example.

●1st avatar model I made was for the valentines event back in February 2023.
(Black dress with red ribbon and asymmetric socks)
Modeling & Texturing was done in 6 business days with additional days for FB correction.
●2nd avatar model was based on a collaboration with Bunka Fashion Gakuin (Tokyo) 's designs made by students of the university.
(White blouse with blue string sleeves, skirt, leg warmers and a star shaped pouch)
Modeling & Texturing was done in 8 business days with additional days for FB correction.
●3rd avatar model is a Bonus LogIn French Maid outfit.
This time the task included a long hairstyle and face parts as well.
Total Modeling & Texturing was done in 15 business days with additional days for FB correction.

This mobile game is expected to be seen (mostly) on a smartphone screen, so it was important to be mindful about how much detail was absolutely necessary to get the design across, and what to discard due to simply not being visible.
I havent done quite this type of character modeling in my career yet, so it was pretty welcoming and refreshing to say the least :)
